Our global community
Our 1300+ associates across more than 15 countries collaborate to innovate our next generation of currency and security products.
USA
Alpharetta, GA
This site is the headquarters of our commercial business called Crane Authentication. Here we develop and manufacture security features for large consumers, pharmaceutical, sporting, and other brands that are like micro-optic currency security technology. This is a newer business and has the highest potential for aggressive growth over the next 5 years. Alpharetta also has an R&D department that supports Nashua with developing security features for currency.
USA
Dalton, MA
Our headquarters are in Dalton, MA. Dalton is our original plant where we have been manufacturing paper for over 200 years. Dalton’s primary focus is manufacturing paper for the US Government. We have a long-standing relationship with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and send the paper directly to them from Dalton. A variety of our corporate functions also reside at this manufacturing site.
USA
Nashua, NH
In this location we manufacture and develop security features for both US and international currencies. We work with a number of central banks and countries to develop custom security features that fit their culture. Nashua is one of the fastest growing facilities, expanding our footprint in 2025 by over 50%. This is due to the high demand for our security features and more countries wanting to use them.
Europe
Hal Far, Malta
Malta is our newest facility. Their focus is printing currency for countries that don’t have the ability to print their own or choose to work with us as their partner. This state-of-the-art site is where we invite potential customers to come and learn more about how a partnership with Crane can help them meet their needs.
Europe
Tumba, Sweden
Sweden is our international currency paper mill that is responsible for manufacturing paper that will either be sent directly to our customers or to our Malta site for printing. Tumba’s operation has been around for almost 200 years as well and is also home to many of our designers who create the beautiful works of art that are going on our customer’s currency.
